What Data gets migrated?
Every version of the app moves your core data model — CRM records, sales objects, engagements, custom data, content, files, and the associations between them — and rebuilds the structure in your target portal automatically.
Associations between all records and custom association labels are preserved. Workflow migration is available with Pro and Enterprise; marketing-email migration is available on Enterprise. Historical Analytics data — contact web traffic, marketing email interaction, form submission, deal and ticket stage history, and company and contact lifecycle stage history — is available with Enterprise+. Before you begin
A self-service migration is powerful, so a little planning goes a long way. The migration is backed by our money-back guarantee — it works as documented, or you are refunded.
Connect both the source and target portals as a HubSpot Super Admin, or the migration may not complete.
Most migrations finish within a day; portals with very large file libraries can take longer. Avoid imports, mass deletes, or structural changes while it runs.
Contacts merge on email address and companies merge on domain. Other objects are not deduplicated against existing target records — expect some cleanup.
Read-only HubSpot fields (such as analytics or “Became a Customer On”) recalculate in the target. Keep a copy with Ultimate Data Export if needed.
Historical campaign sends and analytics can’t be migrated directly due to HubSpot API limits. Schema, drafts, and published marketing emails (Enterprise) do migrate. With Enterprise+ users can migrate historical marketing email events as App Events.
